Egyptian Paintings

Their art was one that didn't mind if it was beautiful or not but the most important thing is that it was completed. There technique was one that shows a story instead of focusing on the painting itself. They had different perspective of angels, lines and colours. They always use to draw in profile; the human figure always looked sideways. Their presentation looks much more like tribal artists did years before them. In the paintings the artist had to paint the Pharaoh bigger than his slaves and wife and also the skin of the man is to be darker than the woman’s. Along with the paintings they used to write so they could understand it better.

Egyptian art is becoming a big influence in these times. Graphic designers and artists are using their designs to create modern art. Here you can see 2 paintings done by modern artists, one is with colour only and the other one is a collage done with paper that’s designing Egyptian art. Their colours are more colourful than the older design but they still use the same dimensions and proportions.
